Overview

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, known in Japan as Garou Densetsu: City of the Wolves, is a 2.5D fighting game developed and published by SNK for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 24, 2025.

A revival of the Fatal Fury series, and the first mainline entry in 26 years, City of the Wolves builds on the gameplay of Garou: Mark of the Wolves while featuring a new 3D art style, single-player "Episodes of South Town" campaigns, character customization via Color Edit, and online multiplayer (with the option to generate AI "clones" of the player's fighting style).

Gameplay-wise, the game features a new series of offensive and defensive techniques known as the "REV System", which make use of a special "REV Meter" that can overheat.

New Additions

• Preecha - A young disciple of muay thai kickboxer Joe Higashi, who also happens to be a scientist investigating the power of spiritual energy.

• Vox Reaper - An assassin who, after failing to kill Kain, ends up being a disciple of Kain's bodyguard Grant.

• Cristiano Ronaldo - One of the top football players in the world, who visits South Town to test the martial prowess of the sport. He is a guest character, based on the real-life Portuguese professional footballer of the same name (who plays for Al-Nassr FC, a Saudi Pro League team owned by SNK shareholder Mohammed bin Salman).

• Salvatore Ganacci - A disc jockey and martial artist who visits South Town looking for inspiration for his latest anime music video. He is a guest character, based on the real-life Bosnian-Swedish DJ of the same name (who is also one of Mohammed bin Salman's personal friends).
